A catch-all feature that is activated for a given mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to addresses that do not really exist. Otherwise put, if you delete an email address and somebody still sends an email message to it, or to any misspelled address under the exact same domain, you’ll get the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality implies that you won’t miss an email for any reason, which could be essential in case you are running a company, for example. Since you may begin receiving spam, you can combine the catch-all functionality with anti-spam filtering software in order to receive only authentic emails in your inbox. Just one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all email mailbox without any effort if you’ve got a shared hosting account with our company. The Email Manager tool in our custom Hepsia Control Panel is feature-loaded, yet remarkably intuitive, and it will enable you to enable various features, including the catch-all one, with no more than several clicks. All the email addresses that you have will be displayed alphabetically in this section and on the right-hand side of each of them you’ll notice a mini "Catch-all" logo. Clicking on it once will activate this option, clicking it for a second time will disable it. As you can have only one such catch-all mailbox per domain name, our system will alert you if you already have another one with this option enabled or if you have active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

You’ll be able to set up a catch-all address with no more than one click if you have a semi-dedicated server with us and your email messages are handled by our cloud hosting platform. All the mailboxes that you set up using any domain hosted in the semi-dedicated account will be enumerated in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Each of them will have a tiny "Catch-all" icon on its right-hand side, so all it will take to enable this functionality will be to click on that icon. In the very same fashion you’ll be able to disable the feature, if you don’t need it anymore. Our system will inform you in case you are trying to activate a second catch-all email address for a given domain name or in case there is enabled email forwarding, but it’ll never deactivate or change anything automatically and without your approval.
